Poll: Your paddling camera. Pentax tops the charts

Ok, so I'm following a blog about an avid kayaker, who shares his kayaking and photography experiences. Look him up on: http://photokayaker.fit2paddle.com/about-2/

I've just noticed he's done a poll on which cameras people use for kayaking. Pentax wins hands down, with the Gopro gaining just 1% of the vote. See results below.

What a digital compact camera do you use for paddling?

Pentax Optio W (WP, W10, ..., W60) (47%, 83 Votes)

Olympus Stylus SW (770, ..., 1030, 1050) (29%, 52 Votes)

other point-and-shoot with waterpoof protection for storage only (11%, 19 Votes)

other point-and-shoot with a hard waterproof case (7%, 12 Votes)

other, please explain, write a comment (4%, 8 Votes)

GoPro Hero (1%, 2 Votes)

other point-and-shoot with a soft waterproof case (1%, 2 Votes)

Total Voters: 178
